Efficiency and agility of a liquid CO2 cooling system for molten metal systems

چکیده
In this study investigations on the efficiency and agility of a liquid CO2 cooling system, using expansion bores fed with by capillary tubes, to form thermal seal in magnesium hot runner channel are performed test rig. Via temperature measurements performance different sets parameters is tested rates identified depended varying nozzle geometry. To validate measurements, tests modelled simulation study. The applicability was demonstrated for engineering purposes. Adequate process times could be achieved while 16 mm diameter as annular gap, which results up 4.8 °C/s. were validated model. simulations illustrate inner processes rig comparison curves show good correlation.
